Vietnam among leading innovative economies

An economy's innovative capacity is measured based on criteria such as institutions, human capital, infrastructure, knowledge and technology outputs, and creative outputs.

This year, Vietnam's ranking continues to lead the lower middle-income group and remains in the top 45.

According to WIPO, India, Kenya, the Republic of Moldova, and Viet Nam hold the record for overperforming in innovation relative to their level of development for the 11th year in a row.
