Japan’s leading airline All Nippon Airways will purchase an 8.8% stake in national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines for 109 million US dollars. The two airlines signed a MoU on strategic co-operation on Tuesday.
After selling stake to Japan’s ANA, Vietnam Airlines will continue to seek other strategic partners to reduce the share of state ownership by 65%.
