Vesak Day celebrated across Vietnam

VTV.vn - During the fourth lunar month, when lotus blooms across the countryside, Vietnamese monks and Buddhists join the world in celebrating the International Day of Vesak.

This year, Vesak celebrations are being held after more than 2 years of suspensions due to the pandemic. On Sunday, the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha solemnly commemorated the birth, enlightenment, and death of Buddha at the Quan Su Pagoda in Hanoi, during which it shared a message about social responsibility and patriotism.
