VTV.vn - The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) has suggested the Government remove conditions on automobile imports.

These conditions are specified in Circular 20 issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in 2011. Under the regulation, importers of complete built up (CBU) cars with less than nine seats need to show proof that they are authorised dealers for foreign automakers. According to the VCCI, this regulation restricts the consumer’s choice of seller and goes against the current legal regulations on competition.
