Vatican prefect visits Vietnam

At the reception, Cardinal Braz de Aviz noted the impressive relationship between the Catholic Church and the Vietnamese government. He also hopes to see more priests actively involved in social and charity activities, which will contribute to the development of the country.

The Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs expressed his hope that Cardinal Braz de Aviz will instruct and support the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Vietnam's operations in order to develop sustainably in the time to come.
