Vaccination procedures in several localities adjusted

In order to deploy vaccinations against COVID-19 to achieve herd immunity as soon as possible in HCMC and other neighboring provinces of Binh Duong, Dong Nai, and Long An, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam, Head of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention, has issued a document, stating that:

1. The People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces of Binh Duong, Dong Nai, and Long An must actively coordinate with the Ministry of Health to adjust vaccination procedures according to the requirements and situation in their respective areas, and develop a vaccination plan and notify the Ministry of Health of their needs according to the plan.

2. The Ministry of Health will distribute vaccines to ensure the vaccination schedule at the request of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces of Binh Duong, Dong Nai, and Long An.
