US toughens stance on Jerusalem
VTV.vn - US President Donald Trump announced yesterday that he would cut billions of dollars worth of financial aid to UN-member countries that vote against the US's decision to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
The United Nations General Assembly is expected to hold an emergency session today to discuss President Trump's decision. The emergency meeting came after the draft resolution proposed by Egypt was rejected at the UN Security council, due to the US vetoing it.
