US President stopped airstrike on Iran

The US President said in a series of morning tweets that he decided late on Thursday that the death toll would not be a proportionate response to the Iranians shooting down a US spy drone off the Iranian coast 24 hours earlier.

He also said that more sanctions have been imposed on Iran. The US President had initially approved strikes on a handful of targets such as radar and missile batteries, but no missiles were fired when the order to stand down came
