US, China kick off new round of trade talks
VTV.vn - China and the United States kicked off a fresh round of high-level economic and trade talks on Thursday morning in Washington, as negotiators strive to beat a 90-day deadline that ends on March 1.
The two sides discussed for more than 9 hours to reach consensus in principle on major issues such as trade deficits, intellectual property, technology transfer or domestic business subsidies. However, the US and China did not give any comment or information after the first working day.
