Updates on HCMC travel plan between neighboring localities and on-site dining
VTV.vn - A travel plan prepared by the HCMC transport department would allow workers to travel between HCMC, Long An, Tay Ninh, and Binh Duong on personal vehicles.

In Long An Province, workers coming from HCMC on personal cars and motorbikes would need to have received at least one Covid-19 vaccine shot at least 14 days prior or have recovered from Covid-19 within the last six months. They would also need to present a negative coronavirus test result issued within the previous seven days.

From HCMC to Binh Duong, workers traveling in cars would need to satisfy the aforementioned requirements, plus have travel papers with destinations and itineraries. Those traveling from HCMC to Tay Ninh would need to be vaccinated with at least one shot at least 21 days prior or recovered from Covid-19 for the last six months. They would also need to test negative for the coronavirus within the last three days.

Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City has just announced that the COVID-19 pandemic has been controlled. Up to this point, all 21 districts, and Thu Duc city of Ho Chi Minh City have proposed to announce that the pandemic is under control.

In terms of reopening restaurants and resuming on-site dining, Ho Chi Minh City authorities said it was still too early. Previously, on October 7, District 7 proposed that the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City let this locality pilot on-site dining while meeting the following conditions: limiting capacity to no more than 30% and serving no more than 20 people at the same time.
