Unstable weather affects shrimp farming in the Mekong delta
VTV.vn - Thousands of hectares of shrimp farming in the Mekong Delta are being threatened by high temperatures and excessive sunlight.

Farmers here have been struggling with the sudden changes in the weather and have had to downscale their production.

Since the beginning of the year, 1,000 hectares of shrimp farming have been lost in the Mekong Delta. To cope with the weather conditions, farmers need to apply techniques such as raising shrimps in net houses, in order to secure the health of the shrimps, their main livelihood.
