Unemployment insurance fund benefits pandemic-hit workers

Accordingly, as of the end of November 1, over 872 million USD in cash relief been granted to more than 7.79 million people currently participating in unemployment insurance and 550,000 others who already stopped making contributions to the fund.

The relief provision is to implement the Government’s Resolution 116 and the Prime Minister’s Decision 28 on assistance for workers and employers hit by the pandemic.

The Vietnam Social Security also said that more than 2.22 million workers will benefit from different support policies in the time ahead.
