UK launches two-week gun amnesty
VTV.vn - Police officers across the UK are urging people to hand in any unwanted firearms, including handguns, shotguns and antique weapons, to prevent them from falling into criminal hands.
People who surrender firearms will not automatically be charged, but will be if they are later connected to a crime. According to UK police officers, more than 700 weapons were handed in last year and the figure of this year is expected to be higher.
