VTV.vn - On the morning of July 26, the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia and the Vietnamese Cambodian People Association burned incense and laid wreaths at the Monument commemorating Vietnamese Volunteer Soldiers in Cambodian capital of Phnom Penh.

The delegation spent a minute of silence to express gratitude to war dead who died their lives in Cambodia during fighting against Pol Pot’s Genocidal Regime.

Thousands of Vietnamese soldiers and experts died while conducting missions in Cambodia. The remains of more than 4,500 Vietnamese volunteer soldiers still lie in Cambodian soil and the two governments have co-operated closely in the search for the remains of war martyrs.
