Tra fish prices rise to record levels
VTV.vn - Vietnamese tra fish prices have surged to record highs in the domestic market since the beginning of this year.
On average, they are now 1.41 USD per kilogramme, up from 1.32 USD.
The increase is due to high demand from processing companies and insufficient supply. According to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers, even processers who have their own fish farms do not have enough raw fish since aquaculture output has slumped.
