Thuan Hoa hydropower plant inaugurated in Ha Giang

The two turbine 56.5 million USD plant, built more than 2 years ago, can produce 38MW of power per day.

It's expected to produce around 133 million kWh of electricity for the national grid worth nearly 200 billion VND each year. The dam will face regular safety checks, with the investors and agencies tasked with devising firefighting and flood prevention plans, developing aquaculture and ecological tourism models in the plant's reservoir while ensuring environmental protection.
