Three Vietnamese workers killed in Taiwan (China) factory fire

VTV.vn - Three Vietnamese workers died / and another is in critical condition / after a fire broke out at a warehouse in Taiwan (China).

The fire raged Wednesday on the second floor of a cargo warehouse belonging to Kerry Logistics Company, in Guanyin District in western Taoyuan City at around 10am. Six Vietnamese workers were hired to do maintenance work on the air conditioning system of the warehouse’s second floor where the blaze started.

The bodies of two victims were found at the scene while the other victim died in the hospital due to severe injuries. The three workers killed were from Bắc Ninh and Hải Dương Provinces. The Department of Overseas Labour has helped the victims' families   get to Taiwan (China) to identify DNA and recommended Taiwan (China) labor agencies to ask employers to fully compensate the victims.
