Three-month old baby rescued from human traffickers

Four individuals were caught trying to smuggle the victim, named Vàng Thị Máy, to China. The traffickers were trying to sell the infant for 3000 USD. Both the Border Guards and the local police force cooperated in the operation to close the border and capture the offenders. Three of the four human traffickers were arrested. This was considered a successful operation because the individuals who were caught have extensive criminal records and have ties with human trafficking syndicates in China.
