“The Kitchen Gods” stopped airing after 16 years

In its official announcement, the Center for Television Film Production (VFC) of Vietnam Television confirmed that "Year end meeting – the Kitchen Gods" will not be on air in the upcoming Lunar New Year 2020 . "After 16 years of airing, the program will stop being broadcast. The time slot 20:00 of the Lunar New Year’s Eve will be dedicated to another art program", read the VFC Official communique.

Although "Year end meeting – the Kitchen Gods" will not be on air like the last 16 years but in the upcoming Lunar New Year 2020, the audience will enjoy a unique art program on VTV. This is also a change for VFC to create more attractive programs for the audience.

The new program to replace the the Kitchen Gods will be broadcast at 20:00 on the Lunar New Year’s Eve, and which will be followed by another fascinating artistic show.

Along with announcing the discontinuation of the Kitchen Gods, VFC also thanked the artists and television viewers for their support and fine sentiments for the Kitchen Gods during the past 16 years. Their support, love for the show and the positive comments have helped the production team to be motivated to overcome many difficulties and create long-lasting and meaningful programs like the Kitchen Gods.
