Summer activities for kids kick off at Temple of Literature

The event, which is called "Little Scholars: Wings to Dreams", is scheduled to run until August 20. The event offers traditional Vietnamese activities for children to take part in during the summer.

Young visitors get the chance to try their hands at coloring famous Đông Hồ paintings, stuffing fabric animals, painting "nón lá" (or Vietnamese conical leaf hats), and making Bát Tràng ceramic pots.

At the event, a number of artisans are present to guide and instruct the children in learning these traditional activities.

The event will run for 3 months at the Temple of Literature, making it a place not only for kids and their family to spend time in together, but also where young Hanoians can learn more about traditional Vietnamese culture and develop new skills.
