Successful liver transplant for the smallest patient in Vietnam

This baby weighs only 6.7 kilograms, while normally a one-year-old child must weigh around ten kilograms. This is also the youngest and smallest liver transplant case ever performed in Vietnam.

This new achievement not only provides one more golden opportunity to save the lives of more patients, but also shows the efforts of the doctors. It’s also an opportunity for them to learn and affirm the skills of Vietnamese doctors in pediatrics surgery.
