Students honored for scientific contributions

She made the remarks at a meeting on Wednesday with young people who have been honored for their contribution to science and technology.

Speaking at the reception, the vice president praised the award-winners. The awards were initiated in 2003 to honor 10 outstanding young people in information technology.

Since 2011, the awards were expanded to IT and communication, medicine and pharmaceuticals, the environment and biotechnology.
