VTV.vn - The Ministry of Health has sent a document to the Departments of Health in centrally-run provinces and cities on the coordination of high school graduation exams and enrollment to universities in 2021 to ensure safety amid the pandemic.

The Health Ministry asked centrally-run provinces and cities to implement several measures to ensure safety for the upcoming exams while building plans on COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control.

The Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) still hopes to hold the high school graduation exams on July 7 and 8. Amid the complicated development of the pandemic, the MoET is working with localities to urgently develop a plan to organise the exams in accordance with the specific levels of the pandemic in each locality, to ensure the highest level of safety for students and the quality of the exams.

In a case where the exam is being held for F1 students, all participants in the exams will be required to wear protective clothing as prescribed while measures to prevent cross contamination of the COVID-19 virus must be strictly adhered to during the exams.

According to the MoET’s plan, the graduation exam will only be organised in provinces and cities without social distancing and the exam may be held across several stages.
