At 7am this morning, storm Kai-Tak was in central Philippines, with wind speeds of up to level 10, according to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting (NCHMF).
Over the next few hours, Kai-Tak will move southwest with wind speeds remaining unchanged.
After entering the East Sea, the storm is forecast to strengthen with wind speeds of up to 90 kph, according to the centre.
The danger zone in the next 24 hours will be from the of 7th to the 12th parallel north and 113th meridian East.
