State budget revenue reaches over VND607 trillion in first half of 2020
The total revenue of the State budget has reached over VND607.1 trillion (over US$26.17 billion) in the first six months of 2020.
VTV.vn - The total revenue of the State budget has reached over VND607.1 trillion (over US$26.17 billion) in the first six months of 2020, equivalent to 40.1% of the yearly estimate, according to the General Statistics Office of Vietnam.

Of this, domestic revenue hit VND503.8 trillion, fulfilling 39.9% of the year’s target. Revenue from crude oil reached VND20.2 trillion, equivalent to 57.5% of the year’s plan, while State budget collections from exports reached VND82.8 trillion, accounting for 39.8% of the year’s target.

Domestic revenue collected from State-owned enterprises reached VND59 trillion, 33.2% of the estimate, while budget collection from foreign-invested enterprises (excluding crude oil) reached VND86.7 trillion, fulfilling 37.9% of the 2020 target; in addition to VND59.3 trillion collected from personal income tax, accounting for 46.1% of the year’s plan.

Total State budget expenditure in the first six months of the year was estimated at VND676.2 trillion, 38.7% of the yearly estimate. Of this, recurrent expenditure reached VND475.1 trillion, fulfilling 45% of the estimate.

Development and investment expenditure reached VND140.3 trillion, or 29.8% of the estimate.
