Stars Gather at VTV Fanzone for the 2026 World Cup, Bringing Music to the World's Biggest Football Festival

This year's tournament  is a significant milestone for  VTV, which holds the official FIFA World Cup 2026™ broadcasting rights across its entire media ecosystem. These rights include the FIFA-granted official public screening rights. As a result, fans can enjoy the tournament  through  not only   television and digital platforms but also through professionally organized, officially licensed public viewing events that meet international standards.

One notable feature of FIFA World Cup 2026™ is that audiences in Southern Vietnam will experience the tournament through a more familiar and regionally inspired approach. Across VTV's Southern broadcasting ecosystem, coverage is expected to incorporate local flavor through presentation styles, commentary, and audience engagement. While  football remains global,  the emotional connection becomes more personal and accessible.

VTV Fanzone World Cup 2026 is   as an overnight entertainment experience where every moment designed around the passion of football.

The venue opens  at 8:00 PM  to welcome spectators into a festival atmosphere inspired by major international fan festivals. Continuous activities are featured   throughout the evening. As night falls, the focus shifts toward live entertainment, including   music performances designed to build anticipation and excitement before kickoff.

Fans will also have opportunities to meet special guests, including football players, analysts, celebrities, and other personalities who will share stories, predictions, and perspectives on the world's biggest football tournament. The excitement continues with live match commentary sessions held directly on stage, where spectators  can interact with commentators  during  the matches.

The event will take place at the Phu Tho Indoor Stadium, one of Ho Chi Minh City's most familiar venues for major sporting and entertainment events. For the first time, the tournament will feature a “midnight live concert” concept, specifically designed around World Cup match schedules, combining football viewing with large-scale musical performances.

Two bands set to perform at the first VTV Fanzone World Cup 2026 semifinal night

The music nights are expected to offer  a diverse lineup of   indie,  alternative  and rock  artists and bands, creating different emotional atmospheres to match each match night.

The first semifinal night on July 14 will  will feature   performances by Minh Toc & Lam, Chillies, and MayDays - prominent representatives of contemporary music and community-driven spirit - to bring a youthful and energetic vibe. The second semifinal night on July 15 will offer a more introspective and emotionally charged musical experience with performances by  Giay Gap, Thinh Suy, and Microwave.

The legendary rock band Buc Tuong will perform at the Final Night of the VTV Fanzone World Cup 2026 event.

The journey will culminate on July 19 with a special live concert featuring Buc Tuong, alongside Nguyen Viet Lam, Pham Anh Khoa, and Vu Thanh Van. . The show will bring together the spirit of rock music, high-energy stage performances, and the passion of football. It promises to deliver an unforgettable climax to the festival, preceding  the crowning moment when the World Cup champions hoist the trophy.
