Spring Market 2026 - Season of Flourishing: A Joyful Celebration of Spring

As spring returns and nature begins a new cycle, people   often  find themselves drawn back to their roots, the place where the most enduring values are born and nurtured. In this spirit, the artistic program Spring Market 2026, themed “Season of Flourishing”, offers an evocative invitation: to return to the seeds of indigenous culture and witness  their growth  and  continued vitality in contemporary life.

Recorded over three days at VTV’s outdoor studio, the 80-minute program is conceived as a multidisciplinary art production deeply rooted in Vietnamese cultural heritage. Its structure unfolds across three chapters, mirroring the life cycle of a seed, the central metaphor of the program: Sprouting on Stone, Rising Through Sun and Wind, Blooming by the Alluvial River.

According to editor Pham Ngoc, the image of the seed in the program transcends nature; it represents the indigenous cultural capital of ethnic minority communities. Values that may appear modest or quietly embedded in daily life - from festivals, music, traditional costumes, and handicrafts to customs and rituals - have been patiently safeguarded and passed down by “seed keepers” through dedication, responsibility, and continuous creativity.

From the northern highlands, where cultural seeds take root amid cold stone and mist, to the Central region - Tay Nguyen, where culture is shaped by sun, wind, fire, and skilled hands; and onward to the Mekong Delta, where fertile alluvial soil nourishes abundant blooms, Spring Market 2026 unfolds as a seamless artistic journey, layered with emotion and meaning.

The program brings together artists, artisans, and local communities to tell cultural stories through music, dance, fashion, documentary footage, and theatrical  presentations. The spring market space is recreated as a living cultural flow, where the past, present, and future converge in a spirit of gathering and regeneration.

More than a springtime art showcase, “Spring Market 2026 - Season of Flourishing” delivers a resonant message: when culture is placed within its rightful living context  and  supported by renewed perspectives and genuine love, every region can become a destination, and every indigenous value can flourish.
