Speedier investigation of mass fish deaths urged

Scientists apparently have identified the cause of the incident that occurred last April. The final conclusion will be released later this month after further validation to collect enough evidence.

At a press conference, several questions related to environmental issues and the mass fish deaths in the central provinces were raised.

"Scientists have identified the cause of dead fish in the central province. We asked for scientists to give their opinions. We have to ensure there is clear evidence of what happened presented. The prime minister drastically implemented measures to ensure the business environment and protect the marine environment", said Mr. Mai Tien Dung, Minister and Head of Government Office.

Currently, the government has assisted fishing vessel owners in providing services to collect and buy fish. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment are currently investigating the fishing area, and issues related to the pollution outbreak.
