Many show a great appreciation to the adequacy of the supervision records, meeting the highest supervision requirements of the National Assembly on child abuse prevention.
According to the report, over 8,700 children were abused, 6,400 of which were sexually abused and over 800 children were violently abused.
Some members of the Standing Committee showed concerns over law education as a result of a survey of 9,000 people which shows that 10% of all adults said they did not know about the Child Law and 44% of adults answered that they did not know the content entirely.
During the discussion, there were also suggestions for additional reports on statistics and preventative measures for children at risk of abuse and recommendation on completing the legal system.
