Southern region suffers heavy inundation
VTV.vn - It is forecasted that this weekend, the risk of flooding in some low-lying areas around Ho Chi Minh City will peak due to the periodically rising water level in the Saigon-Dong Nai downstream area.
Water will rise to level 3 from Friday until Sunday. Peak tides will appear during the times of 5-7am and 5-7pm. In addition, the strengthening 9th storm of the year has pulled water levels up. Heavy rains and high tides are forecasted throughout the Southern region.
