South Korean giants such as Samsung, Hyundai, Doosan, Posco and Lotte have established production facilities in Vietnam and have constantly expanded their investment. According to data from the ministry, most investment projects were implemented by small and medium-sized enterprises, focusing on garment and footwear production. In recent years, there has been a shift in investment of multinational South Korean corporations in Vietnam as they are investing in hi-tech industries, electronics technology, real estate, manufacturing, retail and entertainment services. These projects only account for 5% of total investment projects, but are worth more than 70% of the total registered capital in Vietnam.
