Social insurance to improve coverage and effectiveness

This is the first time VSS has hosted an event to invite the consultation and cooperation of international sponsors. There are currently nearly 80 million people in Vietnam who participate in social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance. Health insurance has covered over 85% of the population. However, administrative procedures for social insurance still lack coordination.

The VSS has asked for the opinions of international partners in calling for fund support for the 2018-2020 period, to meet the demands of citizens and enterprises, as well as the direction of the government.
