Singaporean, Vietnamese Parliamentary Chairs talk

The National Assembly Chairwoman expressed the hope to maintain the exchange of high-ranking delegations through parliamentary, government and people-to-people contacts. She suggested that the two sides work closely to prepare for celebrations of the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations in 2018.

Regarding the East Sea, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyễn Thị Kim Ngân stressed that Vietnam highly values Singapore's stance, expressing her belief that as the ASEAN Chair in 2018, Singapore will continue raising its voice in the issue, and accelerate the drafting a Code of Conduct, helping develop a healthy and sustainable ASEAN-Chinese relationship. Later the same day, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyễn Thị Kim Ngân and the Vietnamese delegation also visited the Sea company, one of Singapore's leading software companies.
