Si Ma Cai fire under control
VTV.vn - It took forces and residents of Lao Cai province one day to quell the fire that broke out on a 20ha grass hill in Si Ma Cai district.

The fire began on Saturday. Many believed it was caused by locals' farming activities.

Hundreds of people were mobilized to prevent the fire from spreading to other areas.

Forces also had to contend with hot weather. 2 policemen were injured in the firefighting process. The fire was under control by 4pm local time.
