Shrimp exports to EU sharply increase

VTV.vn - The Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers have reported that shrimp exports to the EU market reached 780 million USD, up 42% year on year.
The EU has become the leading importer of Vietnamese shrimp and accounted for 22% of total export value. The sharp increase is due to an increased demand.
Shrimp exports are expected to continue their upward trend if the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement takes effect next year.
