Scholars discuss East Sea ruling

The event attracted more than 200 guests and 20 speakers who are prestigious researchers in the fields of politics, international law and marine law from Russia, Japan, the Philippines, Australia, Belgium and Vietnam. 

The use of words, arguments and comments by the arbitration court in the ruling were also discussed by scholars. These analyses, according to experts, are lessons that Vietnam and other countries can learn to resolve maritime disputes.
