Sao Mai (Morning Star), a television singing contest will make a comeback in 2017

Sao Mai has been a successful television program over the last 10 years. The preliminary selection of singers will start on April 2017. The contest will be aired since September this year on VTV6 channel including the regional preliminary round, the regional final round and the national round.

Sao Mai singing contest, firstly conceived as the National TV Singing Festival, is held every two year. Many Vietnamese renown singers in chamber music, folk music and pop have started to shine from this contest.
