Russia accuses Facebook and Google of election interference

The Agency considers these actions as interfering in Russia's sovereign affairs and hindering the conduct of democratic elections in the Russian Federation. Roskomnadzor asked Facebook and Google to ban the publication of political advertising during elections on Sunday and on the preceding day. Information on these interventions will be scrutinized at the Federal Assembly.
