Rumours of banknote change a fabrication

VTV.vn - Rumors circulated on social networks in recent days about the State Bank of Vietnam's plans to change the country's banknotes are fabrications and are ill-intended, said the State Bank of Vietnam on December 1.

The SBV warned that people should stay vigilant over such made-up news to avoid any economic losses that will affect their own lives as well as national currency security. The bank also affirmed that the change of banknote denominations in some countries in the world do not affect and have no relation to the stability of the Vietnamese Dong.
