River embankment project in Sa Dec proves effective

At the end of 2017, local authorities installed an embankment by Tien River to deal with the landslides affecting the area. As a result, thousands of households living along the river can now rest easy about any landslides taking away their homes.

In the near future, Sa Dec plans to implement two tourism projects in the embankment area. The embankment will change the appearance of the urban area along the Tien River and help Dong Thap province attract investment.
