Rice prices increasing

According to the reports from the MARD, 5% broken white rice price picked up 3% to 350 – 355 USD/ton, while 15% broken white rice stands at 345%, up 10 USD compared to last week’s figures. 

The domestic market also recovered following Vietnam’s success in signing new rice contracts. In An Giang province, 5% broken white rice price stands at 325 USD/ton while this figure for the 15% broken rice is 322 USD/ton. The rice price is forecast to continue growing in the coming days.
