Responsible fishing in Vietnam continues

The fisheries in Khanh Hoa as well as many localities across the country have adapted responsible fishing methods. These are the results of the drastic measures that were implemented since the EU Union issued a yellow card to Vietnam's seafood exports. The issue now is how Vietnam can continue to implement these sustainable and responsible fishing methods.

Along with efforts to continue to raise awareness, a number of localities have also started building links between fishing activities and seafood consumption. Currently, in Khanh Hoa province, two associated chains have been formed for tuna, the main seafood export product.
