Remittances to Vietnam jump towards year-end

Remittances to Vietnam have increased in past years and it’s speculated that this trend is set to continue. According to World Bank, Vietnam was among the world’s top 15 remittance receiving countries last year, receiving around 12.5 billion USD. According to World Bank statistics, Vietnam ranked 11th in the list and 3^rd in the Asia-Pacific region. Over 70% of remittances flowed into manufacturing and business sector./.
