Quang Nam authorities investigate deforestation

On July 20th, Quang Nam People's Committee established a working group led by Vice Chairman of the Quang Nam People’s Committee, Lê Trí Thanh, to supervise the investigation.

The loggers transported the wood to Laos to hide it in the forest. Quang Nam authorities have requested Laos authorities collaboration to help the investigation. On July 20th, two more cubic metres of po mu wood was found in Laos.
