Prospects for improved trade with Indonesia

The event aimed to connect Indonesian and Vietnamese businesses in paper production and palm oil.

This is one of several activities to promote bilateral trade, especially as the ASEAN Economic Community has officially come into operation, opening up huge investment prospects for both nations.

Mr.Ibnu Hadi - Indonesian Ambassador to Vietnam - stressed that the formation of the ASEAN Economic Community opened up many opportunities for Vietnamese goods to enter the Indonesian market. And investment promotion and business links between the two countries is necessary in order to reach the target of raising bilateral trade to 10 billion USD by 2018.
