Promoting ties with Kazakhstan

VTV.vn - Vietnamese National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan arrived in Astana on Monday, beginning her three-day official visit to Kazakhstan.

This is the first visit of a Vietnamese National Assembly Chairwoman and the event coincides with the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two nations. The visit is expected to further strengthen ties between Vietnam and Kazakhstan.

On the same day, the Vietnamese top legislator met with Kazakhstan Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev. She emphasised that the National Assembly of Vietnam always supported co-operation between the two governments. In which both sides will strive for the establishment and improvement of the legal system to create favourable conditions for businesses and foreign investors to gain better market access in Vietnam.
