Promoting the rights of people with disabilities

For International Day of Persons with Disabilities (Dec 3rd), the Action to the Community Development Center (ACDC) in collaboration with the Vietnam Federation on Disability and the Da Nang Association of the Disabled organized a national seminar, with the theme "Empowering Persons with Disabilities and Ensuring Inclusiveness and Equality" on Saturday morning.

The seminar is a platform where people can share their experiences in supporting people with disabilities. It focuses on health care, physical instruments, the prevention of sexual violence against disabled women and girls, and the role of disability associations in supervising international conventions.

On Nov 30th, the ACDC also organized a gala event to honor individuals and organizations that have helped empower people with disabilities in Vietnam.
