Prime Minister appoints Mr. Do Thanh Hai as Deputy General Director of VTV

Prior to his appointment as Deputy General Director of VTV, Mr. Do Thanh Hai served as Director of Vietnam Television Film Production Center (VFC).

Mr. Do Thanh Hai, born April 29, 1973, graduated as a university valedictorian, majoring in Film Directing in 1996. He obtained a master's degree in Film and Television in 2010 as well as underwent training at DW Television - Deutsche Welle Academy, Germany in 2008.

Mr. Do Thanh Hai is an excellent artist, director and producer of VFC's film projects. In addition, he also worked as director, scriptwriter and production director for many TV shows that left their imprints in the hearts of Vietnamese viewers such as Meeting at the Weekend (2000 - 2006), Relaxing Weekend (2010 - 2015), as well as the acclaimed show Year - end Meeting.

Thus, the Board of Directors of VTV currently consists of Mr. Tran Binh Minh - Member of the Party Central Committee, General Director; Mr. Le Ngoc Quang, Party Secretary, Deputy General Director; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien, Deputy General Director; Mr. Dinh Dac Vinh, Deputy General Director; Mr. Do Thanh Hai, Deputy General Director.
