"The ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting Foreign will see the participation of 17 foreign ministers partnered with ASEAN. This year's meeting is likely to draw international attention as there are new developments in the regional situation, especially after the arbitral tribunal constituted under Annex seven to the UNCLOS in The Hague has ruled against Chinese claims to rights in the East Sea on July 12^th. ASEAN has shown a consistent stance on the East Sea issue, which is to ensure the safety and security of maritime and aviation and urge to resolve disputes by peaceful means.
