Power purchase from Laos
VTV.vn - Deputy Prime Minister Trịnh Đình Dũng met with Lao Vice Minister of Energy and Mines Viraphonh Viravong on Thursday, saying that Vietnam and Laos should establish a 500 kilovolt electricity line so Laos can sell electricity to Vietnam.
At the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Trịnh Đình Dũng reiterated that Vietnam could provide technical support for the 500 KV electricity network project, which allows Vietnam to purchase power from Laos. He also urged Laos to work with Vietnam to provide favourable conditions for Vietnamese enterprises to invest in hydroelectricity projects in Laos.
